One of the lovely things about linen is that it only gets better with time.

All TESSE bedding is made from 100% French flax linen and stonewashed for softness from the very beginning. With a little care, your linen will continue to soften with every wash and can be enjoyed for years to come.

Washing

• Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C.
• Wash with similar colours.
• Use a mild liquid detergent, avoiding bleach.
• Avoid fabric softeners, as they can leave a coating on natural fibres.
• Don't overload your washing machine — linen likes a little room to move.

Drying

Line drying is best, preferably in the shade to help preserve the colour of your prints.

If using a tumble dryer, select a low heat setting.

Ironing

There's no need to iron your TESSE linen. We love its naturally relaxed texture and the soft creases that come with it.

If you prefer a smoother finish, iron or steam on a medium setting while the fabric is still slightly damp.

A Note on Natural Linen

As a natural fibre, linen may have small variations in texture, including the occasional slub. These are part of its character rather than imperfections.
